Meet Joy L. King, Lifestyle Architect

Welcome! Probably like many of you, I’ve started and stopped this entrepreneurial journey many times before. I’ve even launched other businesses and helped other entrepreneurs launch their businesses, but fear and lack mentality kept me from following my passions. I could give others perfectly sound advice and coaching, but could not take my own. Sound familiar? Then the pandemic hit and I bravely watched my daughter pivot and navigate high school remotely with such resilience and began to wonder how the rest of my life would be if I kept letting fear hold me hostage. What would I leave to my daughter one day? What would my legacy be? So, I stepped out on faith and my dream was born.

I’ve been doing this for years.

I have been fortunate over the past 20+ years to work for some amazing educational institutions and non-profit organizations, hold executive leadership positions, and serve really important missions. I have unique experience as a nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, educator, performing artist, volunteer, and an extensive background delivering results-oriented leadership across school districts, nonprofits, and corporate clients. I have met wonderful people, made lifelong friendships, and raised a lot of money for communities in need. My role in many of these organizations has been as someone to turn things around - a fixer - someone to parachute in, put out “fires,” and put risk management systems in place to ensure smooth sailing going forward.

While this work has been rewarding, I realized that the part of the work that excited me the most, was engaging with people and I desired more of that. Over the years, I have been part of some amazing communities. Communities that support each others’ growth, collectively help reach personal and professional goals, and who have become lifelong friends. As a result, I am blessed to have an amazing network. I want to do work that fuels these passions, uplifts people, and inspires joy.

As a Lifestyle Architect, I create designs for individuals and companies ready to manifest new and abundant lives where they live, work, and play. Simply put, I bring people relief and ultimately freedom. I want people to exhale knowing that their needs are being met.

We make spaces functional and aesthetically beautiful through our residential & commercial interior design and home organization services. We support your real estate endeavors through our home staging services. We also help you operationalize joy through our expert project planning and experience curation.
